We are a vibrant, friendly and welcoming society which usually meets monthly on the fourth Tuesday of each month for our lectures in the Bouverie Hall, North Street, Pewsey, SN9 5ES, Wiltshire. (Until the pandemic is over, our lectures will be delivered online.) The doors open at 7pm with the lecture starting at 7:30pm for an hour followed by an opportunity to ask the lecturer questions relating to the topic.

Established in 1991, The Arts Society Pewsey Vale has a membership of approximately 200 and is part of The Arts Society (previously known as NADFAS), a charitable organisation supporting 385 societies around the world. As well as throughout the UK, there are societies in Malta, Gibraltar, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, Australia and New Zealand. The Arts Society Pewsey Vale welcomes new members - the annual membership fee of £40 gives members access to monthly lectures by highly qualified experts on a wide range of topics (please click the Lectures tab above), 3 superb visits to interesting places often not accessible to the general public; 2 study days for a more in-depth introduction into carefully selected interesting subjects led by a highly qualified lecturer in that subject.
Members can also join the Church Recording team where members of both Pewsey Vale and Devizes Arts Societies record the contents of our wonderful local churches - an interesting and nationally important activity for our church heritage. Visit www.churchrecording.theartssociety.orgto learn more about this volunteering work recording the nations heritage.
